Minutes of the Annual General Meeting
held in The Cornerstone Church Centre, Greenock Road, Bishopton
Wednesday 7th October 2026

Approval of minutes of the AGM held on 1st October 2025
Agreed
Treasurer’s Report and adoption of accounts.
Audit Accounts were approved.
It was noted that the admin grant has been increased.
Election of Office Bearers:
· All three office bearers have intimated their intention to step down. However, no nominations were received for any of the positions.
· DW suggested we should approach Dargavel Residents Association to be incorporated into the Community Council; however, this was not agreed as DRA is a stand-alone organisation. The Community Council is ratified by the Council and must cover all aspects of the village and adhere to its statutory obligations.
· It was agreed that the AGM be adjourned until the meeting scheduled for 4th November 2026. All members were asked to encourage friends to consider volunteering and to attend the November meeting.
· DW agreed to hold the reins until the November meeting.
· JB advised that she will step down from the Community Council once the minutes from tonight’s meetings have been published.
5. Closure of Annual General Meeting.
· Meeting close: 9.40pm
